The early 50's in Baldwinsville, New York

This is me with Santa Claus (or a reasonable facsimile.)

This is me and my little brother Charlie sitting in one of the Adirondack chairs my dad made. We are seated in front of the house my dad built of concrete blocks.

Here we are gazing intently at the Christmas tree. I remember that threadbare old stuffed chair someone gave us.

Here I am smiling for my dad, I presume, as my mom proudly displays my brother. I think that was a '49 Ford.

I liked to climb on the concrete blockpile. I guess I was encouraged to make this face.

This is Leslie at about the same time, though I didn't know then I would marry her.
