Ancestors of Joseph William Perry

Isabella Stevenson Zuccarello gave birth to her first child, Francis, in 1854 at about age 18 and her last child, Lucy, in 1883 at about age 47, a childbearing span of about 29 years. In 1900, after Sydnor had died, she had two children living at home - Lucy, age 17, and Willis McMurray, grandson, age 15. She reported to the census taker that she had had nine children and nine of them were still living. Maybe she misunderstood the first question. At any rate, according to previous census listings she had actually had thirteen children (unless some of the Zuccarello children were really nieces or nephews.) Then in 1910, after all the children had left home she was living with her daughter Mary (married name Smith) whose husband had apparently died, and who had four children at home. JWP Sep 6, 2012.
